When old school is new school: vinyl vs. digital music

But here’s the kicker: vinyl platter sales were up forty.4% within the same six-month time frame. after all it’s a special demographic, and that we might not be talking identical billions in volumes, therefore one might argue that’s simply comparing oranges to apples.
But it will tell U.S. one or two of things. For one, the music industry is still showing healthy growth, regardless of the medium or business model. for one more, digital has n’t yet killed analogue. Ultimately it demonstrates the simple truth that there always has been and invariably will be a demand for quality sound – sound on the far side compressed MP3.

And while we is also talking a different base, vinyl purists are still rocking the music world – in ever increasing numbers.
